I disagree. I think Shaun Alexander fell victim to the big three zero a year early. I think he'd have fallen off with or without injury.

Marino was never fully the same and lost all of what little mobility he had after the achilles injury

He came back and had his best season since the 80s the year after he tore his Achilles. His decline had more to do with Jimmy Johnson trying to make him into Troy Aikman and age than with injury.

Yes and no...still a great passer but couldn't move at all with one ankle visibly smaller than the other



Having spent the first half of this decade living in Jacksonville I would be completely remiss if I did not mention Tony Boselli, who at the time of his shoulder injury was quite possibly on his way to becoming the greatest Left Tackle of all time
