Players who were never the same after an injury...

Who can you think of? I'm aiming more in the Jamal Anderson direction then someone like Michael Irvin who's career obviously ended immediatly after the hit.

Zach Thomas. After that concussion, he just looked lost out there. Add in the fact that he never had the athleticism to overcome his rare mental mistakes and you have the formula for a Hall of Fame career derailed.

Daunte Caulpepper definitely declined after injury. I know that nowadays we just see him as a product of Randy Moss, but he was a legitimate Pro Bowl QB in his prime. That knee injury took away one of his biggest strengths, his mobility.
