Seahawks @ 49ers

Winner has control of the NFC West early on in the season.

Re: Seahawks @ 49ers

I'm really cheering on the Niners here. I don't know if they've got the talent to beat Seattle (then again is Seattle really the Seattle of a few years ago?) but they've got determination and play a very physical brand of football which is rare these days. The only other teams/defenses i've seen that's been super physical since the turn of the century are the Ravens and Titans and they've had some success.

The injury bug is starting to hit Seattle again, so I'm a little concerned. But I think we could still play well and win here. We'll see.

Re: Seahawks @ 49ers

For me, this one hinges on Seattle's health up the middle. No Lofa, no Mebane, no Hill spells serious trouble for the Hawks run defense. That might be the cure for Gore to start the season.

Hill is out for weeks, but if Lofa, Mebane, and Walter Jones are able to play, I'm heavily leaning towards Seattle.

Naturally Im rooting for the Niners here and it will be a tough, tight game but I think we can pull it off if we avoid the turnovers and stick to the running game.

Have you tried that tv channel surfing website? Here in Oregon the Niners game is actually on Fox since they are playing Seattle so I dont have to resort to the internet, thats for next week when we play Minnesota.

Re: Seahawks @ 49ers

Just got in from mowing and saw no Mebane, no Walter Jones, and as we already knew no Hill or Trufant. That 4 of Seattle's core. Not good. I have little faith in this one.
