Dude had 5 sacks on Sunday, and has 7 for the year after just 2 games. Who is this guy, and wtf?

Re: Antwan Odom of the Bengals

The Packers' O-Line sucks, but that was still an impressive performance.

Re: Antwan Odom of the Bengals

He came over to the Bengals as a free agent from the Titans in 2008. Coming off an 8 sack season, he was supposed to come in and be a big boost to the Bengals' pass rush, but injuries amongst other things hindered him. Missed the entire preseason with a foot injury on the first day of camp. Missed 4 or so more games with a shoulder injury. Now that he's healthy, looks like he's finally starting to earn that big money they signed him to.

Re: Antwan Odom of the Bengals

My understanding is that the Packers' starting left tackle, Chad Clifton, got hurt during the game and they had a guard attempting to play tackle.

My observation is that the Packers' starting right tackle, Allen Barbre, may be the worst starting offensive lineman I've seen to-date in the NFL.

Maybe EA got it right for once. Check him out when you get a chance, on Madden, Barbre has a 48 Awareness...ouch.

Yeah, Clifton got hurt and Odom just dominated the backup. Pretty much just like Osi did to Winston Justice a few years back.

Re: Antwan Odom of the Bengals

Odom was solid against the Broncos though too. I think he is one of those guys who is going to be a big reason that Bengals defense is much improved.

He was beasting against the Packers, even when he didn't get sacks he was crushing the pocket.
