Nope he beat the Steelers in 1981.

Lol I wonder if there's a QB that has lost to every team in the league.

EDIT: Just checked Favre....he's lost to every team except the Packers and Texans.

Re: so Farve has beaten all 32 teams...

Okay, so it's a slow day at work. I went to Pro-Football Reference and started at Montana's rookie year and went through each box score of wins and made sure he played that game to count it. It looks like the only regular season team he did not beat, was the Dolphins. The few times the 49ers beat them in the regular season, Montana did not play and he never could beat them as the Chiefs. But the Super Bowl win over the Dolphins should count. Montana beat every NFL team he faced. Unless my research was off.

Here is a breakdown and the year beside the team name is the first time Montana beat them.

Patiiots 1980
BIlls 1983
Dolphins (Beat in 84 SB)
Jets 1980
Colts 1989

Steelers 1981
Oilers 1981
Browns 1984
Bengals 1981

Chargers 1988
Broncos 1993 (Chiefs)
Raiders 1985
Cheifs 1982
Seahawks 1985

Cowboys 1981
Redskins 1981
Eagles 1989
Giants 1980
Cards 1983

Bears 1981
Packers 1981
Lions 1984
Vikings 1983
Bucs - 1983

Falcons
Rams 1980
Saints 1980
49ers 1994

Yea the Super Bowl should count. I'm not sure why it doesn't.

Montana might have beaten every team that was around then. Favre is the first qb to beat all 32 current teams. Montana never had to play the Texans, Ravens, Panthers and Jaguars.

Jags, Panthers and Texans are the only teams he couldn't help. He retired before they were around. He beat the Browns before they were the Ravens and he beat the Oilers before they were the Titans.

The Oilers and the Texans are not the same organization as the Oilers are actually the Titans. And the Browns kept their history and records via arbitration thus the Ravens are technically a separate franchise.
