The officials have a better view than anyone @ home or in the stadium, but it doesn't mean they're infallible.
Yes i agree, their not perfect. But what are the chances of both of them missing the call simultaneously?. And it seems like both the Browns and the Bengals players immediately though it was good. I didnt see any hesitation in any of the players.

I wish they would of reviewed this right after it happened. I would would rather have the Bengals tie on the right call then get an undeserving win on a bad call. But I guess we will never know, and I will put my faith in the 2 guys under the FG Post. Just hope they didnt blow it as it was very very close.

This.

IMO, it was pretty obvious. It certainly wasn't obvious in real time. But when you go back and look at the replay, it's pretty obvious to me. The ball disappears behind the goal post meaning it went outside of the post. No good.

The last thing the NFL wants is another snafu with the Bengals in OT.

They should suit up and play the final 4 seconds or give the Browns a tie.

I watched the game at my sister's house and her husband and I both thought he missed it live. They showed a replay and I really couldn't tell. I'm trusting the officials on the ground by the goalpost. If they said it was good, fine. The Bengals didn't deserve to win that game at all. It would have been fitting had Graham missed and they had achieved yet another tie.

Irrelevant question. The referee on the other side has no say in the matter, he simply looks at the other referee for the decision.

It is based solely on what the referee at the goal post in question sees.

Yep. Each ref is responsible for his own upright.

Re: Blown call ? Cincy FG wide right? w/ pic

I'm just surprised the Browns players didn't try and contest the field goal or get a challenge or something. Even the announcers didn't say anything about it. Some of the Browns players said no good, but once they saw the officials say it was good, they just turned away and walked to the sideline. The players on the field have the best view aside from the officials. And all of them acted as if it was good without any hesitation. But looking at that picture and the video, the ball clearly disappeared as it went pass the right goal post meaning the field goal was no good. I just wish we could get a better angle from this...
