definitely in over his head...Garrett had zero experience as an OC before Dallas and it shows often. For someone so cerebral, he is probably one of the easiest in the league for defensive coordinators to win chess matches against. I have no idea why he was "annointed" as the head coach in waiting for the Cowboys (GM is obviously a big problem for Dallas also). He's not even fit for OC, I cant imagine that milktoast as the head coach.

I was hoping that he would take the Baltimore job a couple of years ago. The Ravens dodged a bullet there.

I voted no, because the question was if he'll be the first coach to be fired. I think he should be fired, but I think Jim Zorn goes down first.

Let's not get carried away with Parcells and his personnel decisions. They weren't as great as some remember....

Passing on Stephen Jackson to take Julius Jones.

Drafting Barbie Carpenter with a 2nd round pick.

Drafting numerous defensive secondary busts....can't remember 'em all.

Parcells best moves were whom he surrounded himself with. Sparano, and the HC of the Saints...his name just slipped my mind.

It's funny because Cowboy fans here drilled me for saying they made a mistake in passing up Jackson.

That being said, they were making more good moves than bad under Parcells, and Jones before Parcells and after him has never shown an ability to make sound decisions when it comes to acquiring talent.

This team is getting less talented every year, not more talented.

Cowboy fans will forever be pissed bc of passing over Jackson but lets not stretch the story. He didn't want to take a RB that high. I can't remember who they picked, but they didn't take Julius Jones INSTEAD OF Jackson as the story has become.

The Cowboys traded away their first round pick to the Bills for a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th I think...3 picks either way. In the second round the Boys took Jones.
