Limas Sweed And Kevin Curtis On The Trading Block

Quote:
According to Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post, the Eagles and Steelers will make Kevin Curtis and Limas Sweed available for trade this week.
Lombardi also mentions Chiefs ILB Derrick Johnson as a player that potentially is available.

It seems like every time I see Limas Sweed he's dropping a pass.

The Penguins honored the Steelers Super Bowl at their season opener by letting Sweed drop the first puck.

Kevin Curtis would be a decent pick up for a team in need of a WR. I wonder if Dwayne Bowe is still on the block also?

I'm fairly sure that every pass thrown to Limas this year, has been dropped. I hate it, because he has no problems getting open. The guy has talent, he just can't catch a damn pass, even when it's right to him and he's wide open.

I don't know what possible return you get for a failed second round pick. Probably not much.

Derrick Johnson could be a very nice pick up.

I'd like the Colts to go after Derrick Johnson.

Very nice. I laughed out loud at this lol.

Such a shame because he actually looked pretty decent during the pre-season (from what I saw, which wasn't much). Like someone else said, he's got talent. He can get open, and he's big. They gotta get him on the Leodis McKelvin workout. Dude almost never signed autographs at training camp cuz after camp, he would just sit there as a guy shot footballs out of one of those machines from like 5 feet away.. for like an hour just catching the balls and putting them in this cart thing.
