You think Rivers says "well, it's Monday, time to play better than I do on Sundays"?

This one comes down to whether the Chargers can start to run the ball again.

This one comes down to whether the Chargers can start to run the ball again, stop the run, sack the quarterback, call better plays on offense and be less predictable, have less three-and-outs to help out the defense from being on the field for 40+ minutes, and have some overall better coaching.
Fixed. This team's problems go far beyond not being able to run.

It's an interesting statistic in a game full of statistics.

Don't read anything into in.

Re: MNF: Broncos vs Chargers

Wow, I love this rivalry, and to all the Sparkler fans a fyi - winning a SB is what it's all about, the Chargers not winning a SB in the last 6 years is a shame - blame that on your owner.

There is absolutely no way that a team with that talent level didn't at least just make a SB, and if there was a trophy for making the playoffs then it would be a farce, that's why I laugh at the division winner t-shirts that some teams make up each year - who really cares unless you do something special - it's just a matter of odds to win a division.

And any time a team has to lose (ie implode) games for your team to make the playoffs that is luck because your team didn't control it's own destiny.

Tonights prediction:

Donks:27
Sparklers:30

Prove me wrong Broncos! Prove me wrong again!

Shouldn't be brown, should be the white top.

You don't have to be able to run the ball IMO to win. You do have to run some but, I'd stick with the chargers strengths. Stick Rivers in a shot gun formation or whatever and let him have a ball game with these receivers. SD needs to throw, throw, throw, and when you have there *sses backed up you throw it some more. Yeah its a risk to have your QB throw more than he needs to but, at this point they need to just throw the rock.

The O-line is extremely better at pass blocking than run blocking so since thats there strenghth they need to stick to it consistantly. I have a feeling its going to be a long game for the defense. As much as I want to believe they are going to be better I have serious doubts they will be a none factor no matter what they do or how much they practice/prepare.
