New York City is the city of North and Central Jersey, parts of Connecticut, Long Island, and Westchester County. Giants Stadium is 13 miles from Manhattan. Staten Island, which is actually part of New York City, is farther away from Manhattan. What's the issue?

I was wondering when someone would make that point. Or as I was going to put it, Giants Stadium is in East Rutherford, NJ which is a suburb of NYC which makes it a part of the NY metropolitan area. Thus, the New York in their names refers to the NYC Metropolitan area. So there is nothing wrong with them being the the NY Jets/Giants.
