We're faking Punts inside our own 30 with a 14 pt lead ...it worked, but that's bordering on insanity...

My brother is watching this game in the other room (while I watch the Falcons-Cowboys game in my room), and he said Leon was hurt and it looked bad. Did you guys get a status update on how bad his injury is?

Man, Russell is SO bad.

Any other QB on any other team would have been riding the pine a LONG time ago. He gets worse by the week.

And Russell has been benched.

Maybe the pigeon can throw?

Re: Week 7: New York Jets(3-3) at Oakland Raiders(2-4)

New York Jets running back Leon Washington was carted off the field in Oakland with what appeared to be a serious ankle injury during the first quarter of today's game.

Washington was injured on his first carry when a Raiders player rolled on his ankle in a pile-up. TV replays showed Washington's lower legs bending in a way that lower legs aren't supposed to bend. The injury was reminiscent of the broken leg that ended Joe Theismann's career, and it would be shocking if Washington isn't out for the season, if not longer.
