The Carolina game? The one where we got lit up by Steve Smith? Yep, Kyle Orton could've definitely kept pace with the Panthers.

Uhhhh, yeah... You completely missed the point.

Grossman was airing it out (41 Attempts), it failed. A more conservative offense might've slowed down Carolina's pace. That's the point of running a ball-control offense, to keep a far superior offense off the field, thus limiting its chances of putting points on the board.

It's Football 101.
