He made the mistake of not coming out last year when he could've been the number one pick, but then again I wouldn't wanna get my a** handed to me playing for the Lions. His stock has dropped greatly but someone will take a risk on him hoping he'll help their franchise.

I don't know, Lions look like they're gonna be pretty sick in the near future with Stafford, Johnson and Smith to build around. And Pettigrew isn't bad either. They're nowhere near as bad as teams like the Rams, Bucs, Browns, etc.

I don't trust any QB coming from the Sooners system. Who've they had really make it big in the NFL at QB over the past few generations? Troy Aikman is the one guy who comes to mind, and he didn't gain his fame there since he transferred to UCLA.

I don't see this guy being very good in the pros unless he goes to a spread offense, short passing attack. I could be wrong though I don't watch much of Oklahoma.

I would never draft a QB who played less than a full game the season before they entered the draft. Add he is having surgery. He'll be a late 1st round at earliest I believe.

Bad move IMO. Cause we barely got to see him this year, and who knows if he'll even be ready for the combine/pro day, he will slip. Now Locker and Clausen will for sure go ahead of him I think.

I'm not so much worried about the spread offense. Rather, the fact that we've only succeed him with an NFL caliber supporting cast on offense makes me leery of how much is really him. The shoulder surgery should hurt his already questionable arm strength. Some team will draft him late first round, though.
