Yeah, your right, because the Packers were not right in allowing Aaron Rodgers to take over.

Thom Brennaman probably. I can hear it now...

"If you're fortunate enough to spend 5 minutes or 20 minutes with Brett Favre, your life is better for it."

Yeah, Brennaman is calling it. He did last week also when Buck was doing the ALCS.

I hear you packman. I am so pumped for this one also. What is getting lost in the Favre side show is that if the Vikes win, the division title is basically theirs. It would put them 3 games (3.5 technically because of the bye) in front of the Pack because of the tiebreaker.

Re: Week 8: Vikings @ Packers

Yup, they'll basically control their own destiny from hear on out whereas if we win Sunday and next sunday in Tampa, we can take 1st in the division over the Vikes based on Division record(we'll be 3-1 with wins over everyone in the Division while the Vikes would be 2-1)

One thing I've learned over my years of being a Packers Fan, you can never trust a Vikings Team when they think they have the Division wrapped up with 8 weeks still left in the season.

Re: Week 8: Vikings @ Packers

Once again this is a game the Packers have to win. If the Vikings win it will give them a great shot at winning the division. So I expect to see Greenbay come all out Sunday! I think the Vikings have a good chance to win this game, but AD needs to be the real star of the game! So I hope the Coaches have a good game plan!

Re: Week 8: Vikings @ Packers

Just saw a report in today's paper that one of the Vikes texted another player in the league and called Favre a dummy because Bevell usually calls all the plays and Favre called the play off with over 3 minutes left in the game and decided to try to put the kill in and called for bomb down the sideline.

haha, more bulletin board material for the Packers.

Re: Week 8: Vikings @ Packers

I think this game will be pretty hostile with the crowd.

We'll probably see Green Bay's best this weekend given the circumstances. They really really need this win.

The Pack are still trying to fit into that new fire zone 3-4 scheme. Pittsburgh beat MN with that scheme. If GB can get Kampman going, maybe they can get some of the pressure off their DB's. Last game GB's DB's got kind of ripped off in my opinion. The calls on Woodson were so ticky tack. Maybe things will change in GB.
