The players love Rob Ryan. They like him. They find him likable. He treats the players with tough love, but treats them with respect and last but not least, he's a ryan. Will he take the interim job if Mangini gets fired?

No matter how good or bad Mangini is, if the Browns fired him after 7 games, they'd look like complete idiots.

Mangini is horribly overrated and well...having the wrong Ryan as an interim coach isn't going to help much.

3 seasons, 1 playoff birth, and on the cusp of another playoff birth doesn't seem too bad for three seasons. That seems to be a short leash.
