Re: Week 9: Ravens @ Bengals

Just want to send a shout out to the Bengals. So glad to see them back to 2005 form. This team is for real and I hope to see them in the playoffs! Rode with them through the 90's when it was almost painful to watch. Good to be able to believe again! Who Dey!

P.S. Won the Super Bowl with them on Madden, would love to see it in real life!

Didn't wanna make a new thread, but I just heard on Monday Night Countdown that Chris Henry is done for the season with a broken forearm.

That was a given as soon as they put the cast on him before they even got him off the field.

I hope the media will finally give this team some credit. I don't think they should be mentioned as an elite team. But if Cedric Benson keeps on the pace he is going and our secondary keeps playing the way they are. We can be a threat to anybody.

It will hurt more than people think. He is Carson's favorite long ball threat and Carson throws the deep ball better than anyone. Without Henry, Palmer won't go deep as often. Which will hurt receivers like Caldwell. As the safeties will be able to creep up alot more.

Yep. My prediction is it will hurt them Sunday vs Pitt. Unfortunately I see Pitt winning this one. Gotta predict the worse for the Ravens. If Pitt wins, the Ravens can win 10 games and it will not matter because the Bengals raped them twice. And unless the Bengals implode, which I do not see happening, the Ravens will be home watching the playoffs.

Yeah Henry is a big loss to our passing game he was our best deep ball threat, sucks that he is out after he turned things around this year and off-season.
