Ok, so 27-20. Spread them out, run everything from the shotgun and hope Smith doesnt turn it over again. Whatever we do we need to keep Smith from being under center as he plays differently between taking the snap under center and taking it in the shotgun.

Re: Tennessee @ San Francisco

God I cant wait until we get a legit QB that wont hurt us more then he helps us. How in the hell Smith thought he could complete that pass is beyond me. His decision making is terrible at times, hes late on throws, stares guys down and is otherwise an average at best QB. I cant believe we lost to the Vince Young led Titans, Im disgusted beyond belief.

Yeah, that D made those plays as much as Smith handed it to them. The Titans defense is going to improve somewhat based on the fact that they shouldnt be on the field as much but Alex Smith handed atleast 2/3 of those picks to you guys on a silver platter.

i agree with that...49ers offensive line gave smith enough time. All of those ints were horrible. He holds onto the ball wayyyy too long at times, that indy game last week proved it. I still say give him a lil more time before he gets the boot.
