Week 10: Dallas @ Green Bay

Green Bay: 4-4 Tied for second on the NFC Central

Dallas: 6-2 First place in NFC East

Notes:
GB is coming off a terrible loss to the Bucs where the Packers president has put the coach and Gm on notice.

Dallas is coming off a huge divisional win and look primed to start the ball rolling towards the division title.

What To Watch For:

Same as usual, Packers O-Line issues. How many sacks can they let up this week?

The Romo/Austin effect? The packers secondary better step up. Will Tramon Williams step up? Will they get pressure on Romo?

A-Rodg and Romo have put up comparable numbers for the most part, with Aaron being better in most categorys. That will be a fun QB show from both.

Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Green Bay

This thread came way early.

If Dallas plays up to their capabilities, they should win this one. Green Bay has issues protecting Rodgers, and Dallas' team pass rush is firing on all cylinders right now. Further, if Josh Freeman can have success against the Packers' defense, then I'm more than confident that Tony Romo can.

I just hope that the Cowboys don't peak against the Packers for the third consecutive season.

The only way the Packers win this one is if they come out mad as heck for losing to the Bucs.

If they don't, they won't have a chance to win this game. Maybe Romo might be a bit jittery playing in his hometown state, too, who knows.

You know what, I think the Packers win this game. They'll come out fired up and angry as hell after their loss to the 0-7 Bucs. Cowboys are on the road in a tough environment. I think Romo will be a bit shaky and turn the ball over a couple times. I'm goin 31-21, Packers.

Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Green Bay

I think the Cowboys can win this one, but I am concerned about how Green Bay will respond after dropping the last two or three (can't remember). The Packers O-line and Rodgers tendency to hold the ball for way too long in the pocket give me reason to believe that the Cowboys will be able to create somewhat constant pressure on Rodgers all day. The Cowboys will need to stop the run and make Rodgers win the game by passing. On the offensive side for Dallas I think that a heavy run game will be the key to a Dallas victory. Utilize all three backs and continue to let Barber come in and punish teams in the 4th quarter. I'm interested to see how much the Wildcat/Razorback offense will be used for Dallas, as well as seeing if Williams can make it two solid games in a row. Give me the Cowboys 27-21.

Dallas should roll, but the Packers are a wounded cornered animal at home. Always dangerous in the NFL.

That said, Rodgers has no protection, and Dallas is getting to the quarterback these days.

Cowboys 31, Green Bay 17.
