Ah, ok, if it's happening everywhere on tour, maybe his golden voice is gone. The article you just linked, said Daltry stated at the end that he woke up like this. Maybe that's where the other reviewer concluded he had a cold.

Here's a link to a review when he played in Seattle a month earlier.

Here the reviewer says that even though Daltrey might not be able to scream anymore, he still has a strong voice. It would have been cool to be at this show. Eddie Vedder joined him on stage.

LOL I wonder what happened to that show? Used to be one of the funniest(at least to me)shows on TV as far as classic responses goes.
