Gonna be interesting to see who they go after in the offseason. I get the feeling they might not go after one of the big name coaches like Shannahan, Holmgren, Marty, etc. I think they'll take the route most teams seem to be going in hiring an up and coming co-ordinator. Maybe Mike Zimmer or Leslie Frazier?
The Bills have hired too many mediocre coaches over the last 10 years that if they go that route the fans will jump off a bridge. We as fans want to see a CREDIBLE coach who has a track record.

I'm under the thought of them going after a co-ordinator because of the uncertainty in whether they're relocating (Toronto, L.A., etc.) or not combined with the fact that they are a small market team.

I don't know, in a couple months I could be proved wrong but that's what I'm thinking.

There is no uncertainty about relocation right now. The Bills are a profitable franchise and sold the most season tickets ever this season.

Fans want a good credible head coach like SPTO said. We don't want experiments.

What about ownership though? I don't mean any disrespect but Ralph Wilson probably doesn't have many years left in him. Even though the Bills are profitable and sold the most season tickets ever this season, a new ownership group could steal them from Buffalo like the Seattle mess in the NBA.

I agree with you guys about not wanting an experiment. If I was a Bills fan I would feel the same way and would want a credible head coach. I've gone through similar feelings living in Winnipeg and having a CFL team that hasn't won a Grey Cup in 19 years.

There is nowhere to go but up after Dick Jauron. He has done nothing to impress me as a head coach. One winning season in 10 years? Why do owners stick with this guy so long?

Good move, weird timing...

They usually do things like this BEFORE not AFTER the bye week, but then again it IS the Bills...
