There's no way he was projected as a 4th round QB. He was dominant at LSU.

Re: A new era in Oakland begins

This entire franchise is bad. Not trying to hate but its true. Its not just Russell. You could put Brady or Manning there and they could not win more then 5-7 games. Russell is a kid who has been told his entire life that he was great and he sees it no other way. He don't see a need to stay late and work or be waiting at the gate to get in every morning. The kid has a huge arm but you need more then that to play QB in the NFL. On the flip side who does he have to throw to. DHB was a reach. The guy had games in college where he had zero catches. Look it up it happened. No top 10 WR should be held to zero catches. He played in the ACC which is not known for lock down corners.
They have had some bad drafts so all the pressure is placed on Russell to lead the team. The kid can not do it. The NFL needs to step in and force Al Davis to step down or kick them out of the NFL. This thing is bigger then Russell but it starts with him.
