Sure, he didn't throw picks like ferrotte did but he also didn't do anything really positive on the field either and was unable to truly take advantage of teams stacking the box.
Did you not see the stats of his last 4 regular season starts?

The reason he started out so slow was because he had a knee injury which limited his off-season. Nobody ever mentions that. The great Peyton Manning had a knee injury that limited his off-season and he started last season like crap.

Pretty much. Childress should send Brett Favre a thank you note.

But when you have the best player in football behind you and an outstanding D it makes things easier. Not to mention Harvin has been a HUGE addition.
I don't care.

I doubt Sidney Rice develops into a potential top 10 WR with Jackson.

And seeing the way he played in the Wild Card round vs the Eagles, change was needed.

It's a good thing every player in the league isn't evaluated by 4-game stretches, there would be an awful lot of terrible personnel decisions being made.

The extension wasn't surprising. Unless you're a tool like the GM in San Diego you're not going to change coaching staffs on a team primed to win.

I'm still far from sold on Chilly though.
