I know why the NFL did it, but the Chargers going against the Cowboys would have been a much better matchup than the Raiders.

Re: Turkey Day Football!

I think the Raiders have a good shot given how DAL's offense has looked as of late.

The biggest turkey(or ham) will be sitting on the bench and his name is jamarcus russell. That being said, I got Raiders 21-17 over the cowgirls.

Re: Turkey Day Football!

Anyone else wish they'd give us a game worth watching once?

How great would it be if the middle game was Pats/Colts or something like that? A game that actually mattered.

Consider I need to sit down and eat with the family at some point, I'm ok with the set up. As long as the night game looks like it'll be a good one, that's good enough for me. I could see either of the first two being surprisingly entertaining though.

I actually don't mind it the way it is. Like wwharton said.. I'm going to be spending time and eating with my family. All of my devotion on Thanksgiving can't go to watching Football. lol. So I'm perfectly fine with the first two games not being all too interesting or games that don't really matter. By the evening, however, I'll be at home so as long as the night game is a good one, I'm fine.
