Re: Ochocinco find $30k

I really don't think Ocho cares all that much about getting fined or he would have stopped by now. The only way the Rodger Goodell would put Ocho in his place would be to suspend him. Rodger needs to stop with all these fines and grow some nuts and suspend him if he wants to really do something about it. I know that would be to harsh for that little stunt he pulled but, C'mon you would think Rodger would have gotten that threw his head by now.

He's not going to stop on fines alone but, I garentee if he suspends him he'll eventually have to stop. I love Ocho's antics and I don't mind them at all but, obviously he's not going to stop as long as he keeps getting fined.

Seriously though, the NFL makes zero sense. You fine the guy 30k for celebrating. Yet guys like Tommy Harris get fined $7500 for punching a player. And a guy such as Brady Quinn gets fined 10k for an illegal hit on Suggs(that got him injured BTW). It doesn't make sense. How does Chad get fined 3 times as much as those players? It's a joke.

EDIT: Just read the article and Chad is officially awesome.

Ochocinco tweeted later Tuesday, "Adam this Sunday when I score I'm taking that loud horn from the Viking mascot and using it<--is that a fine to?"

LOL.

Probably because, he continues to do it and doesn't stop like most guys would. Like when Flozel Adams(Or how ever you spell his first name) kept tripping people. The fine kept increasing over time and that is what is happening to Ocho. He's never going to stop unless he gets suspended and even that might take more than one suspending given Chad's personality.

Ahh, good point. Didn't really think about that. And that's probably the reasoning behind it.

Keep sticking it to the Man, Ocho!

I never in a million years thought i'd be pledging my support to Ocho freakin' Cinco. Anybody that publicly mocks Roger Goodell is fine by me.

Re: Ochocinco fined $30k

The only one that confuses me really is how punching a player in the face doesn't get suspended and a pretty bigger fine than it was? Even if it is a first offense getting into trouble on the field punching, stomping a player in the face and all of the above is simply unacceptable.

Off Topic: Haynesworth was suspended for that for 5 games for stomping someone in the head. A punch to the face, not even worth a 10,000 dollar fine or being suspended. $190,000 dollar fine for Hanyesworth. The stomp is worse than the punch but, C'mon thats a bit much to me since the punch was only a 10,000 dollar fine.
