hmm, I watch most Pats games and don't seem to remember them do anything like that.

Now, I will say that Pats games in the 70's were real bad with alcohol and remember they had no night games from 81-95 because they were to rowdy. my dad told me stories about drugs being dealt underneath the stands and a guy falling to his death off of the back of the stands.

Re: Anyone remember this?

I remember that, Cleveland should have had to play extra road games the next season to have made up for not being able to control their fans. I would say the same about any team where their fans throw objects onto the field, such as when the Giants fans pelted the Chargers with snow/iceballs.

I'd be pissed too, but at the end of the day, it's football, it's not life or death. It's a friggin game.
I didn't say it was right. That's an embarrassment to the city and the fans.

But it was the worst blown call I have ever seen. Just horrid. That's not justification, I'm just pointing out facts.

And Dis, we are no different than any other city when it comes to throwing things on the field...it's just your hate for Cleveland sports that makes you hate Browns fans. It's okay to admit it.

Well, did you ever stop and think that this is whee I live, bro? I get to literally see and hear Browns fans lose their cool on a weekly basis. I can imagine it is like that in other places too but I don't have to live there and see it firsthand so I don't care.

And I don't hate Cleveland sports. The teams here simply aren't good enough for me to care all that much. I'm just not a fan.

Seriously hating Cleveland sports teams is like hating the Clippers, sure you can do it but what's the point?

Re: Anyone remember this?

There's a clear difference between cheering and being a complete out of control moron. Throwing things like an uneducated fool is NOT being a "hardcore fan" or anything of the sort. Showing displeasure by disrespecting a game you put so much free time into is wrong.

Re: Anyone remember this?

Well, it was an incomplete pass. If the refs had just called it correctly in the first place, none of this would have ever happened. And if they hadn't reviewed it, it would have been the Jaguars getting screwed. Browns fans had a right to be pissed, but give me a break.
