Well yeah of course, I'm not saying I wouldn't be excited....but there's just something special.

Re: Anyone else bummed about this?

The only things snow and cold rain bring are sloppy weather conditions and illness.

I'm pretty sure germs bring illness, not the weather.

Dude there is nothing like two hard hitting playoff teams playing in snow at night in hd with the fans throwing snowballs up after a touchdown the field being covered in snow. domes= borning. domes are ment for baseball and basketball not football.

Re: Anyone else bummed about this?

Being at one of the coldest playoff games ever was one of my better sports moments. The Patriots/Titans 2003 AFC Divisional Game was about 8 at kickoff with -20 windchill. It was just awesome to experience.

I totally understand what Matrix is saying. The added cold/rain/snow/sleet/etc is something special. Watching a game in a dome no matter what is just boring and stale.

At the end of the day, both teams have to play in the exact same thing though so no excuses can be used.

You realize that happens a lot(playoffs, state championships, etc.). Just like College Football is played in a dome a lot as well(bowl games, and some Colleges play in NFL stadiums that are domes).
