I'd go with Matt Millen. He just did absolutely nothing right. He was totally unprofessional and showed that he had no understanding of how to build a football team.

He was a great player and a great sportscaster, but unfortunately his career as a GM overshadows that.

Mike Brown, GM of the Cincinnati Bengals. 14 consecutive losing seasons. If Millen is 1A, Brown is 1B. Can anyone honestly think of a team that was worse than the Bengals during the ENTIRE DECADE of the 90's and the first few years of the 2000's?

Agreed, oh and here's a piece of info you may not know but Al Davis was the one that suggested the DeBartalo family as new owners when the old ownership couldn't finalize a deal with another person (I forget who exactly)

I wonder if Davis regrets recommending DeBartalo and Walsh back then.

I wasn't aware of the Debartolo deal. That's very interesting.

About Walsh... I could've sworn Walsh interviewed for the Raiders job at one time and Davis told him he was too nice a guy to be a Head Coach. I remember seeing that in an NFL Films special. The Raiders were a great team back then. Imagine what Walsh could've done with that.

I'd say it was the architect for the New Cleveland Browns. They missed on every 1st Round Pick they had for the first few years and even to this day, what 10+ years leater, the team is still irrelevant, which I wish weren't the case. An organization with such great history deserves better.

Which is why it's Dwight Clark.

I said that in the beginning of the thread...he is the easiest worst GM of all time.

Wow Dwight Clark was the GM?! He was a pretty good WR but that doesn't qualify him as a GM. No wonder the "new Browns" started off so badly and are still mired in sub mediocrity.

He was indeed. Hired by Carmen Policy.

Drafted 0 pro bowlers. He had two years and did the expansion draft AND the original draft.

I think the only player of note that he got was Phil Dawson.
