Week 15: Raiders @ Broncos

Yet another fine showdown of one of the NFL's greatest rivalries.

I am gonna predict that the Raiders are gonna try and run the ball a lot more this week. I say this not only because Frye is behind center, but because of Denver shutting down Peyton and Colts stellar passing game last week. (Up until the last drive lol)

All in all I don't see a win for the Raiders, but look at what they did last year when they met the Broncos for the second time.

Its not a question of wither the Broncos will win, but if the Raiders will even score.

Re: Week 15: Raiders @ Broncos

If the Raiders can take away Ortons safety blanket(Brandon Marshall) which I think will happen and slow down the run I think they'll have a chance. I don't see the Broncos dropping this one though.

Really just depends on what Raider team shows up.

Keep in mind the Broncos dont have JUST Marshall out there. If they take him out it will open the door for Tony Scheffler, Ben Graham, Eddie Royal, or Jabar Gaffney.

As far as the run game, McD needs to replace Buckhalter with Hillis(up until hes 100% of course) and let Hillis just pound the front guys of the Raiders. Then when they are all tired, light them up with Knowshon.

I know but, Asomuah(or however you spell it) has a good shot at shutting him down for this weeks match up. He trusts Marshall alot to get open and to catch almost everything that comes his way. I know anyone of the other guys could show up big but, when you take Marshall away things get a bit more difficult for Orton. I think it could be a close game(wouldn't be surprised with a blow out) but, like I said earlier it just depends on which raider team shows up.

Ben Graham?

And Buckhalter is already out this week.

And I disagree about your running philosophy. Moreno needs to continue to carry the load with the exception of any short yardage play, that is when Hillis should be in.

Re: Week 15: Raiders @ Broncos

The Raiders have a shot to win. It all depends on which Oakland team shows up, as AGS said. They've shown the ability multiple times this season to beat good teams. 3 of their 4 wins are against Philly, Cincy, and Pitt. However, with Charlie Frye starting at QB for the Raiders this week, not sure how they'll fair in this one. Not like Frye is all that worse than the other options at QB the Raiders have, but still. lol.

That said, in the end, I think the Broncos will get it done. Too much at stake for Denver to be losing to a 4-9 football team.

Depends on what Raider team shows up , With Frye under center i think broncos handle the raiders easy. And what happened to Bruce for the raiders?

Re: Week 15: Raiders @ Broncos

we lose this fair and square, i think the team was liking the leadership of Gradkowski and it was a big his when we lost him, and now there is Frye, who is pretty crap, we lose big time
