The problem with Namath is that injuries KILLED him. He was never the swiftest guy on his feet but once his legs started to go his productivity went down the drain. To be honest with you, he should've retired after the '72 season. From that point on he was barely a shadow of his former self.

Namath is an easy #1 for me, Bradshaw #2. As for #3, probably have to throw out Mike Vick from the early 2000's, he was never really that good.
