I guess you're part of the Lions organization and think Backus is an upper echelon LT?

Three Words: Need Moar Okung!

Not a fan of Backus, but I don't think Okung is the super-elite franchise type LT you take with the #1 or #2 pick. Suh, McCoy and Berry are all the cornerstone types you can build a foundation on defense around.

True, but they are in need of a Franchise/Good LT. They could probably pick one up in the 2nd. Of course they wouldn't be in this situation had they picked up Oher or Beatty last year...

Another guy I like 3rd round is Obrien Schofield.

Considering the crop of quarterback prospects that are coming out in 2010, getting either of these guys over Matthew Stafford in the 2009 draft would've been beyond dumb from the Lions perspective. And around the time of the draft Brandon Pettigrew was widely considered to be the best two-way tight end prospect to come out in several years. Meanwhile, neither Oher or Beatty have been ranked as high as Russell Okung or even Anthony Davis coming out in '10.

WR opposite of Steve Smith.

2-3 DL if Peppers goes (which is likely unless Fox is canned/Cower is hired...)

...and a 7th rounder for Jake Delhomme.

However, his arm, when healthy, is tailor-made for the WCO. He is deadly accurate and has adequate arm strength.

I'm think the Browns will try to get a QB through the draft and attempt to develop him. Just not sure if it's going to be a first rounder like Bradford or a later round player like LeFevor, McCoy, or someone like that.
Another thing I would worry about is how he handles pressure in the pocket. He was relatively untouched at OU because of the great OL they had. Will be interesting to see how he performs against a consistent pass rush.
