Vikings: Ryan Mallet, Suh (I wish), Dan Williams would definitely fit here, as he is a big DT and his last name is Williams.

About Dunlap: I see him slipping to the second round. No doubt he has great physical abilities and great size, but he is lazy. In other words, see Calias (Sp?) Campbell.

Suh or Berry in the first. If not them, trade down for Bradford.
In the second, either RT or pass rusher...maybe a QB.
Basically, anything that can move, hit or throw.

I think Calias Campbell turned out to be a really good defensive end for Arizona.

This is a good year to pick up a DT in this draft: Suh, Terrance Cody, Arthur Jones, and that Oklahoma DT all have first round potential.

Random note: I think the Detroit Lions had the best draft of all last season- Stafford, Pettigrew, Devry, and Louis Delmas will all be solid.

And some lesser-knowns like Mike Neal from Purdue. I don't know if Cameron Heyward would come out this year, but you'd start hearing a lot more about him around combine time if he decided to.

Don't forget Gerald McCoy. Either he or Russell Okung will be the Lions pick if Ndamukong Suh is off the board. A trade down is also possible, though highly unlikely.

Yeah, it has been a really good draft for the Lions. But at the same time, this clearly shows how poor the talent level is for this team when there are that many rookies getting significant playing time at once.

Re: Who do you want your team to draft in 2010?

Anyone who can give our struggling franchise some hope. Can we really pass up on Suh for a QB? Yes we need a franchise QB, but is there one there that is better than a once-in-a-generation type of DT? Do we want to be known as the team who passed up on Suh?

We need an A+ draft, I have a feeling we will leave with a C or worse.

Once-in-a-generation DTs are what you should pick, unless the other option is a once-in-a-generation QB. I don't see Clausen, Bradford, or any of the other QBs this year as once-in-a-generation guys, but there's a lot of guys that might be able to ball well enough for a team to have a winning season. Next year's draft will probably have some better QBs, I think.
