Re: Wow... nice job, Philly fans.

A stupid act by a small group of fans isn't enough to condemn an entire fan base. I've been to multiple Phillies games in full Red Sox gear when the Red Sox were playing them and have only had one incident. Some random group of kids tried to pick a fight with one of my friends (also in Red Sox gear) and it was other Phillies fans who stepped in and told the kids to get lost.

I've seen snowballs thrown at people at Patriots games, beer dumped on people at Red Sox games, food thrown at a Braves game, batteries thrown at people during college hockey games and many more incidents.

In every case the alcohol was the problem not the entire fan base.

ME TOO!

I heard all the predictions and went out in it Saturday morning when the snow started and it was bad. But, I thought it was more on the blizzard-like conditions. I went out the next day thinking I can just 'SUV' my Blazer through the streets to the market. I looked and saw the damn thing engulfed in snow!

I was like "Crap...this is alot of f'n snow!" lol

VERY tired act, fellas.
Just a thought...if your Philly brethren would stop behaving in a manner that reinforces all the negative stereotypes about your town's sports culture, the problem you describe would go away. Until that happens you and the other Philly posters really don't have much right to complain about being treated unfairly.
