I don't see why you fired Dungy, but would hire Cowher. Their coaching resumes are damn near identical.

I think it'd be a shame to let Cable go in Oakland; he's done wonders with a completely disorganized franchise that handcuffed him with a bust franchise QB & reaches in Draft picks & FA signings. The team has been competitive, the players seem to respect him, and he's pretty much been the only positive in the front office area in quite some time.

I mean, why fire him? What is there to gain, and more importantly, what coach would be FOOLISH enough to take his position? Keep Cable, keep some semblance of unity & organization and at least wait for a decent coach/GM to be on the table.

I like Cowher for a more veteran team like the Panthers or Bills.

His team is actually doing well on the field, because he benched JaMarcus. How come nobody tells Al Davis he's spent a decade making a fool out of himself?

Point is if you don't care about the moral issue, you let Cable coach.
