Now for the regular season grand finale poll to determine the best game of the season. Recaps and cheesy names included! Vids too.

1. Week 1: Patriot Magic
Bills 24
Pats 25

Trailing 24-13 in the 4th quater Tom Brady hits Ben watson in the endzone with 2:10 to go. After the Bills fumble the ensuing kick off it's Brady to Watson again with 55 seconds left to give them the win.

2. Week 3: Brett Farv-rah
49ers 24
Vikings 27

Despite an early injury to Frank Gore the 49ers held a 24-20 lead and ball with 1:49 left. Failing to get a first down and only managing to run 20 seconds off the clock the ball goes back to the Vikes. Brett Farv-rah marches the Vikings down the field and hits a 32 yard pass to the back of the endzone to Greg Lewis with 12 seconds left for a 27-24 win.

3. Week 5: Wild(cat) 4th
Jets 27
Dolphins 31

The Jets carried a 13-10 lead into the 4th. A 4th quater slugfest ensued kicked off by Fasano's early TD for Miami, the start of FIVE 4th quater lead changes. Miami got the ball down 27-24 with 5:12 left in the game,Ronnie Brown ran in the game winning TD from the wildcat with just 6 seconds left.

4. Week 6: Wide Left
Ravens 31
Vikings 33

Trailing 27-10 with 10 minutes left in the game the Ravens storm back with Flacco throwing 2 TD passes and Rice adding another on the ground to take a 31-30 lead with less than 4 minutes to go. The Vikings weren't having it as Farvre connected on a 58 yard pass to Sidney Rice to set up a Longwell FG giving the Vikes a 33-31 lead with exactly 2 minutes left. Flacco managed to lead the Ravens down the field only to have Hauschka's game winning 44 yard FG attempt sail wide left as time expired.

5. Week 7: Miami Meltdown
Saints 46
Dolphins 34

The 2-3 Dolphins managed to get a shocking 24-3 lead on the 6-0 Saints in just the second quater. A Drew Brees sneak with 5 seconds to go in the half cut it to 24-10. Darren Sharper ran back an INT early in the 3rd to make it 24-17 Miami. A Dolphin FG gave them a 10 point lead but it'd soon be cut down to 3 as Brees threw a TD to Colston. Ricky Willams answered back near the end of the 3rd restoring the 10 point lead but it was the last they'd see of the lead or points. The Saints scored 22 4th quater points,Bush to bring them within 3,followed by another Brees sneak with 8:38 to go to give the Saints the game wininng lead. Another INT return by Porter on a late Miami drive sealed it for the Saints.

6. Week 10: 4th & 2
Pats 34
Colts 35

The Pats had an early 24-7 lead eventually turning into a 31-14 lead early in the 4th quater. The Colts quickly answered by a Manning TD pass to Garcon. A Gostkowski FG with 4:12 remaining gave the Pats a 34-21 lead. The Colts went 79 yards in just 6 plays and 1:49 capped by an Addai run to make it 34-28 with 2:23 to go. Using one time out before their first snap and another after an imcomplete 3rd & 2 the Patriots were faced with 4th & 2. They failed to convert and as the snap was before the 2 minute warning they weren't able to challenge. Peyton Manning got the ball at the 29 with 2 minutes to go and threw the tying TD to Reggie Wayne with 16 seconds left the XP was good and the Colts remained undefeated getting a contraverisal win over their rivals.

7. Week 11: One Armed Quaterback
Browns 37
Lions 38

After an opening exchange of FGs Brady Quinn throws for 3 TDs giving the Browns a 24-3 lead...in the first quater. Not to be outdone Matthew Stafford comes back to throw 3 straight TDs himself tying the game at 24 in the 2nd. A Dawson FG just before halftime gave the Browns a 27-24 lead going into the half. Stafford connects again from the 1 yard line late in the third and after being down 21 early the Lions are on top 31-27. An intentional grounding call in the endzone brought the Browns within 2 trailing 31-29. Yet another Brady Quinn TD followed by a 2 point convert by Jamal Lewis put the Browns back on top 37-31 with just over 5 minutes remaining. With 1:46 at their own 12 the Lions drive to the Browns 32 with just 8 seconds to go. Stafford's pass is picked in the end zone as time expires,PI is called giving the Lions the ball at the 1. Stafford, injured on the play, comes out of the game replaced by Dante Culpepper. The Browns then call a time out allowing Stafford to return and throw the game tying TD with no time left despite his injury,XP is good giving the Lions a 38-37 win.

8. Week 12: The Drive
Cards 17
Titans 20

Perhaps in some foreshadowing Kurt Warner went down in Week 11 against his old Rams setting up a 2006 Rose Bowl rematch between Matt Leinart and Vince Young in Week 12. Trailing 17-13 the Titans got the ball at their own 1 with 2:37 remaining. With a bit of luck Young pulls another one out of nowhere giving Leinart flashbacks by converting 3 3rd downs and 3 4th downs on an 18 play drive connecting with Kenny Britt in the endzone with 6 seconds remaining to halt the Cardinals win streak and continue their own.

9. Week 14: Sunday Night Shootout
Eagles 45
Giants 38

With first place in the division on the line a good old classic division rival shootout occured. The Giants trailed 14-3 early, eventually catching up to the Eagles taking a lead at 31-30 3rd only to lose it on the Eagles next play from scrimage when McNabb hooked up with Jackson for a 60 yard TD. At 5:54 to play the Eagles made it 45-31. The Giants scored another but their comeback attempt was cut short when Eli fumbled with 28 seconds left and the Eagles ran out the clock.

10. Week 16: Miscue on the Midway
Vikings 30
Bears 36

The Bears had a suprising 16-0 lead at the half. The Vikes finally got on the board early in the 3rd courtesy of a Peterson TD however the XP was blocked. The Bears were quick to respond scoring on their next drive to go up 23-6. Late in the 3rd the Vikes manage to cut it to 23-13 on a Farvre TD. An early 4th FG put them in range at 23-16. The Vikings tie the game at 23 after an AP TD with just under 6 minutes remaining. Manning's 59 yard return on the kickoff set the Bears up to take a 30-23 lead in just 2 plays. The Vikings getting the ball with under 5 minutes left began their drive from their own 32. The drive concluded with a Farvre TD and a tie game the Bears couldn't return the kick for a TD and it was off to OT. The Bears won the toss but failed to score missing a 45 yard FG. After both teams went 3 and out on a 2nd & 10 Peterson fumbles, the Bears recover on the Vikes 39 and took just one play to score a TD on a Cutler pass.

It may not be a popular choice, but I'll go with the Jets vs. Dolphins game as it was weird yet fascinating to watch unfold at the same time. Especially during that wild 4th quarter.

Re: Game of the season

Not trying to stir the pot but why no Cowboys games?

Giants vs Cowboys? (Jerry World opens up)
Cowboys vs Broncos? (last second drive)
Chiefs vs Cowboys? (comeback in 2nd half with OT needed to win)
Cowboys vs Falcons? (two playoff calibre teams)
Cowboys vs Eagles? (redemption for 44-6 last season)
Cowboys vs Chargers? (two hot teams going at it)
Cowboys vs Saints? (undefeated streak on the line)
Eagles vs Cowboys? (for division crown)

Like Wade Phillips stated, it's not considered a big game unless you lose.

Probably because I don't think a Cowboys game won a "Game of the Week" poll. It's all the Game of the Week winners put into one mega poll to decide the game of the year.

I went Pats/Colts
