ESPN talked about the same thing in their article about the Chiefs becoming the Pats, but I think you need more talent on the field for the coach's philosophies to work.

I wouldn't say WR is a big concern. Chambers is fine for now. O-line could use work though, and that defense has skilled players, they do just need to mesh like you're saying.

The team knows what it is doing, and in 2 or 3 years they will surprise someone.

Without a QB like Brady, they're still the Chiefs.

Cassel started the season well. He only had 6 INTs through 10 games I believe.
Kinda selfdestructed near the end but they beat the Steelers in that time as well.

I think they could put a good scare into mah Chargers the next couple years

Brady was a nobody w/o Weis. The Chiefs have some talent in key places and the draft this year should help.

Remember, the Pats went 5-11 in their 2000 season. I think with the coordinators the Chiefs have and w/a good eye like Pioli in as head man they have the eery potential to be this decade's Pats.
