Marvin Lewis Coach of the Year

Marvin Lewis won coach of the year honors.

Do you guys agree? I think it should have gone to Norv, Caldwell, or Payton.

Edit: After thinking about it and what you guys think, I agree he should have gotten it.

I would have voted for Caldwell myself, but I have no problem with Marv winning either.

Cadwell or Payton should have won, IMO. Sean Payton not, Peyton Manning

Re: Marvin Lewis Coach of the Year

Someone told me yesterday when I was at the Xavier-Dayton basketball game that Lewis had won this and I thought they were lying. But, when I got home and read up on it, while being reminded about all that the team went through off the field, I can see why he won. I'm happy for him.

I have no problem with them winning it. He turned the Bengals into a run-first team with Cedric freaking Benson, had to deal with Chad Johnson's foolishness, had to deal with Zimmer's wife's and Chris Henry's deaths, and took the damn Bengals to the playoffs despite the ****** ownership.

Meh. I don't mind it, but I would've voted for Caldwell.

Re: Marvin Lewis Coach of the Year

I think what separated him and Caldwell were the 2 tragedies in the Bengals organization and how Coach Lewis and the team handled it. I personally think Caldwell should of won it but I can't argue with Lewis. He did a hell of a job this year.
