How many great RB's were there in Saints history though? Not sure if that's great of an achievement. A great achievement, yes, but not great enough to put him in the hall. At least IMO.

He only had 6,096 Yards rushing and 49 rush TDs. Hardly HoF material. He was a great back but not for the HoF.

Yup. That's what I figured. Didn't think he accumulated THAT many yards/TD's, not enough for Canton. Great player, great person, but not HOF worthy.

Exactly. about ~80 Persent of our wins this decade he has done all the dirty work. Deuce and Horn.

Yes. If they don't, I'm 87% percent sure that the people NOLA will furbish him one.

That's what I thought as well, seems a little too early, especially since they could have kept him "active" during the playoff run.

I wonder if he hadn't blew out his knees, what his career numbers would look like. All in all, still one of if not my favorite Saints ever.

Re: Deuce McAllister Retired

i think the whole move was to make sure he gets a ring if they win it all. he was never brought back to play. if this is true classy move by peyton.
