He went to the Pro Bowl in 1996-1997 with Tampa Bay. He wasn't anywhere near that level with Baltimore in 2000-2001.

So technically he went to the Pro Bowl, but not when his team won a Superbowl.

Doesn't really matter bc the original question is about players who have ever gone to the probowl. If that's not the question then the thread makes even less sense bc many superbowl QBs don't go to the probowl, including both that make it this year (yes, this year is different bc the game is a week before, but QBs and other players have bowed out of the pro bowl for similar reasons in the past).

Although your question doesn't relate to your argument at all, I'm pulling for you, buddy. Your Rams should definitely draft Clausen, so that my Lions get Suh.

I'm a Viks fan. Your Lions need a LT, but Suh is probably the best player in this draft, even though he will wind up going #2.

having the pro bowl before the superbowl is the worst idea ever would you want to take a chance and get injured before the biggest game in your life? and with every year the top 2 teams having alot of players who were voted in kinda makes the game vanilla or a watered down product. i say it is time for the nfl to re think this game maybe make it a all pro game versus college all stars i would rather see that.

It was always decided that participants from the Super bowl teams would not play in the Pro Bowl. It's not even an option for them to play.

An all pro game vs. college All stars would be a huge blow-out.

Yeah, I'm sure college guys would love the chance to further injure themselves in a meaningless game where they get nothing from it.

That aside, this is just about the Rams drafting Clausen? Clausen isn't even the best QB in the draft IMO, thats Sam Bradford.

Bradford hasn't played consistently in awhile, plus Clausen has better physical tools. This will really show at the Combine.
