Correct Divisions

These are what I beleive should be the divisions:

Pacific or West:
  • San Diego Chargers
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Seattle Seahawks
South:
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New Orleans Saints
  • Houston Texans
  • Arizona Cardinals
Northeast:
  • Buffalo Bills
  • New England Patriots
  • New York Giants
  • New York Jets
Southeast:
  • Miami Dolphins
  • Jackonville Jaguars
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
North:
  • Detroit Lions
  • Chicago Bears
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Green Bay Packers
Atlantic:
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Washington Redskins
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Philadelphia Eagles
Central:
  • Denver Broncos
  • Tennesee Titans
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • St. Louis Rams
East:
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Indianapolis Colts
These divisions are just my opinion about what the NFL's divisions should be because of only location and time zones. Also the names oculd be changed to something like paul brown div and be named for people

Re: Correct Divisions

The divisions are fine. No need to blow up several different rivalries for geography purposes. I could see if buses were still taken to games, but teams have jets now.

Re: Correct Divisions

Yea but Dallas should be moved to the NFC south and a NFC north team move to the east.

Re: Correct Divisions

Those would be awful. Dallas needs to be kept in the East because the Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, and Redskins all have long rivalries. Same goes with the AFC West, you can't break up those 4 teams.

Re: Correct Divisions

No regard for historic rivalries, I see.

There's no reason to change the divisions at all.

Re: Correct Divisions

Geez, Negative Nancy's all over this board. I have always thought some teams need to be realigned as well but sadly it won't happen. Where some teams dont' make any sense in their division (Dallas = NFC East?), there is far too long of a history that those teams would probably never move. Also, the NFL likes to keep inter-state teams in opposite conferances if possible.
