Neither Tippett or Jackson are in the same class as Derrick Thomas. No way. And even though Thomas is in, the fact that Thomas didn't get in first ballot was yet another black mark and knock on the hall selection committee' credibility.

Blitzburgh is in!
Agreed. The man has been successful at every aspect of the game.

I'm happy to see Randle get in. The guy was such a fighter & competitor. In fact, Randle, Rice & Emmitt are all great are all examples of blue-collar, hard working guys that nearly all scouts said would never make it.

I read a pretty good article supporting Coryell that was written before the vote this evening here

The writer is completely right. Don Coryell's fingerprints are all over NFL football today whether you like it or not.

Truer words have never been said. The Rams should have given him a share in 1999.

Re: 2010 Hall of Fame Class

Very happy that Grimm is getting in! Too bad he couldnt have gone in with Monk and Green back in 08. I was really shocked at Richard Dent not getting in once again, thought he should have been in over Jackson. I agree for the rest of the selections though I was expecting Carter to get in over Grimm, but I'm not complaining. About time one of the Hogs get in! Cant wait for my 3rd straight trip to Canton. Next year though I think Carter has to make it, I'm tired of this one pass catcher a year trend they have, especially when there are 4 HOF worthy ones waiting in Carter, Reed, Brown and Sharpe.

I havent checked yet but does anyone know any big time candidates eligible next year? I think Dent, Carter, Sharpe, and Kennedy should have a good shot next year.
