It was Superbowl 44
We currently have our 44th president
It is 44 days after Christmas
Saints won the NFC Title game 4:44 into over time

Saints stop the Colts in the SB on 4th & goal with 44 seconds left on the clock.

They said this during the broadcast of the Super Bowl. Or maybe it was during pre-game(obviously not the 4th and goal one). I don't know. But yeah I've already heard it.
