Saw that live on Sportscenter, last night. How can some idiot call in and pretend to be an athlete? Aren't those interviews set up through PR/agents?

The other thing is since I am an Eagles fan I know what the real Brian Westbrook sounds like. So when I heard the interview I was actually really confused until the Howard Stern comment.

Whoever answered the phone and set up that interview is definitely getting a talking to this morning. I can't believe anyone would believe some caller was an Athlete volunteering to do an interview.

I saw something similar the other day. It was either the same caller or just a guy using the same joke. They were posing as some Emergency Management guy talking about Newark airport being shut down. The CNN guy didn't even realize it was a prank call when he mentioned Howard Stern. After he asked the caller another question, he called him a *******.

LMAO!!!!! haha gotta love those Stern phone-bombs.

Anyway, tough to see the guy go. At this point it appears only McNabb remains from all the vets who've come and gone through the Iggles organization. Regardless, the Westrbrook move was purely business and many saw the writing on the wall with the drafting of McCoy. I'd love to see him play somewhere else but at this point with the injuries who really knows what else he can do? The man would be a perfect fit in a spread offense, though, with those great hands.

That's what I'm wondering. I don't think any player would ever just call up SportsCenter or some other media outlet randomly like that. From my understanding, the media outlets usually call the players' agent notifying them that they want to interview their respective player and THEN the actual player calls in. So if this is what happened, how did this prank caller know that Westbrook was supposed to be calling into SC? And if that's not the case, then how did this prank caller even get onto SC? What'd he do, just call in and say he's Brian Westbrook and he'd like to do a quick interview? lol.
