The Pats don't need enough players to make a late third/fourth round pick that important but if Tebow could sit and learn in a system for 3-5 years behind Brady, I think he could flourish. Plus he wouldn't have to learn a new system and if nothing else would be a decent goal line/special teams player for them.
I completely agree...especially since the Pats have 3 or 4 (i forgot which, exactly) 2nd round picks, so a 3rd or a 4th on Tebow if he falls is well worth the risk.

Wow...I comletely agreed with your post as well. I have thought all along Tebow could be a Steve Young type player, BUT Young sat forever behind some great QB's. I think Tebow needs to disappear for a while and just soak up a system for a few years, get reps in practice, and then be ready if his chance comes. Unfortunately, I'm afraid some team is going to take him relatively high, pay him the money, and feel they need to rush him onto the field to justify the contract. The ugliness that ensues will destroy any confidence he has and he'll be out with Danny doing missionary work in 5 years.

I read that a couple weeks ago. Pretty interesting. I think it would be a good fit and he'll make our offense more versatile. His reasons make sense too. Clearly Tebow needs time to develop. A LOT of time. What better place to go than to sit behind Peyton Manning while he finishes up his career? Whether it'll happen or not is another story. I doubt it.

LOL. I'll probably be doing the same. I couldn't help but "cheese" with him in NCAA Football.
