I even made this move on NFL2k5 (with new rosters of course), and he has been an animal and the perfect compliment to Demarcus Ware. I really would love to see Peppers in the Big D!

I'd also love to see us release Kitna's dried up horrible ***, what a joke! Cromartie or Rolle would be a good compliment to our secondary, but really, we need a good SOLID veteran player in the Secondary for the younger players to feed off of. Our defense would be lights out!
Spears does his job as a space eating DE in a 3-4 defense. We need him against the run and to keep the oline off of the lb's

Having the number one defense in the league I'm sure won't hurt Cro's chances either to possibly play better than he did in SD. I smell a 2nd round pick.

Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz is going with the old-fashioned approach to try to land Tennessee Titans unrestricted free agent defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch.

Schwartz has paid a midnight housecall to Vanden Bosch at his home in Nashville, Tenn., according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

The Pro Bowl defensive end is in heavy demand from the Lions, who are serious about upgrading their defense.

Schwartz has ties to Vanden Bosch from his days as the Titans' defensive coordinator.

We'll see if the aggressive approach leads to a deal. This one sounds like a natural link to us.

Re: NFL Free Agency Thread 2010

Cromartie is the big, physical corner the Jets haven't had in a long time.

I really like this trade for the Jets. The Jets don't have a ton of holes and now an elite defense gets even better. I think Revis and Cro will enjoy playing together. Just get me a legit safety to replace Kerry Rhodes and this defense is good to go. With hopefully a healthy Kris Jenkins and hopefully more depth at LB with Adalius Thomas, this defense is going to be scary.

Still need a slot receiver and some depth at RB (not that important if Leon resigns) but wow, this team is coming together nicely.
