Maybe a 2nd rounder, but not a first round draft pick.

Marshall would disappear like Randy Moss did in Oakland.

At this point they'd be better off addressing their lack of explosiveness by picking up one of the RBs projected as an early round pick, either Spiller or Best.

A porous offensive line, a less than stellar crop of RBs, and an aging and frail QB will drain a huge percent of the value that Marshall has.
Denver was far from great this year. They got out to a good start(partly lucky) and Marshall was the main reason. He will be just as good in Seattle as he was in Denver.

One thing you're forgetting is that Seattle doesn't even have nearly the talent Denver currently has either or the defense for that matter(which was also the reason they were in games this year).

Like others have said, they have too many holes they need to fill and Marshall isn't going to fill all of those holes by himself.

I will take a healthy Hasselbeck over Orton anyday.

Denver has a better running game and O-line.

And I don't see how you can say 'healthy Hasselbeck' as that is his weakness. He can't stay on the field.

I'll take a 6-5 Drew Brees with a stronger arm anyday.

And the most important part that was ignored... Denver had a better year than expected bc of their play on defense. Seattle's defense isn't anywhere close to Denver's.

This. We haven't seen a healthy Matt Hasselbeck in over two years. Only once in the last four seasons has he been relatively healthy for the entire year. His knee was mangled in '06 causing him to miss time and be a statue when he played. His back has been limiting his ability to not only play, but walk at times over the last couple of years. And he had a dead arm the entire 2009 season due to shoulder problems. And he has a sieve for an O-Line.

The icing on the cake is that he's going to be learning a new system for the 2nd time in 3 years. My expectations for Hass and the Seahawks are very low.

Adding Marshall at the cost of the 6th pick makes no sense.

We're talking about possible vs. definite. Their 6th pick may be great. Marshall already is. End of discussion.
