Browns get their starting QB? Trade for Seneca Wallace.

Wallace will probably be the starter then. He can't possibly be worse than Quinn.

I think Wallace will compete with a rookie for the #2 spot and Quinn will get this season to prove whether or not he is an NFL starter.

With Pashos starting at RT it could be a very nice improvement for QB protection in Cleveland.

I see no reason to waste time with Quinn.

Start Seneca and let the rookie be the backup. Trade Quinn for a bag of balls.

Pashos is not a good pass protecting Tackle. He's also good for at least 1 holding call a game.

I see Seneca starting, and good for him if he does. I always liked him as a player and thought if he wasn't asked to do too much he would make for a capable starter.

Like I said before he has great agility and can buy time for himself if pass protection breaks down. He also has decent arm strength and will make some impressive throws, but he can be inaccurate at times as well which is probably his biggest weakness. He plays smart though, and while he may not go out a dominate, he has the ability to make some plays.

Mike Holmgren liked him coming out of college (though he was no longer the Seahawks' GM when they drafted him in 2003), and he clearly thinks Wallace has something to give or else they wouldn't have traded for him. Whether that role is as a transitional QB or just a game manager, I think Cleveland fans will be pleasantly surprised... Just don't expect the world.

Well, Mangini came in last year and cleaned out a lot of crap, Holmgren is just finishing the job.

If the Browns actually do sign Delhomme, I'll slit my wrists.
