I don't think working hard is the problem, he's just not very good.

I cannot think of a better post to sum up Quinn.

So what is Cleveland's current plan regarding their QB situation? Maybe Jake Delhomme can be a nice stop-gap but surely they can't think he will take them anywhere in the long run...

Maybe they will still take a look at some of the Draft prospects this year.

According to John Clayton (and I'm only using him as a source as he literally just talked about this on ESPN), the Browns are going to look to see if they could get Clausen or Bradford at 7.

Re: Brady Quinn Traded to Denver

Good trade for both teams.

I imagine that Quinn will get every chance to be the starter in Denver. Didn't McDaniels have a hard on for Quinn when he was drafted? That should tell you that he has big plans for Quinn.

Two words...Perfect Fit. With Kyle Orton playing on a 1-year deal, whether you like Quinn or not there isn't much about this trade not to like.

I don't think 12 (counting significant playing time) games of inconsistent playing time is hardly enough to make an evaluation especially given a QB. Especially given the fact that he (and Derek Anderson) had been jerked around by a coach who withheld who his starting QB would be -- even from his own team AND the QBs mind you -- until days before the start of the season.

Re: Brady Quinn Traded to Denver

Notre Dame fans are going to defend Quinn until he is in the CFL.

The guy is horribly inaccurate and will be playing in the same system in Denver that he played in Cleveland. But something about "fresh starts" and yada yada yada.
