This is AZ's fault though. They knew they didn't like Leinart. Unless they go get McNabb for a year, they should've started grooming immediately. I bet John Navarre is available.

During his rookie year, Fitz turned some bum named Josh McCown into a somewhat decent QB. While neither DA or Leinart aren't close to Warner, they should be able to make some use out of a developing running game(Beanie/Hightower)and nice core of WR's(Fitz, Breaston, Doucet). I absolutely love Boldin, but I don't think the Cards will miss him as much as most people think. And Rhodes should fill in nicely for Rolle. I haven't seen Rhodes play, but I can't imagine you can get toasted in coverage or miss as many tackles as badly as Antrelle Rolle. At this point, I just hope the Cards can find a decent replacement for Dansby.

I wouldn't say that the Cards are finished just yet.

I mean, he completed 44% of his passes last season, 52% in his career, threw 3 TD vs 10 INTs...

Is this really a test to see of Leinart is any good? Sounds like more a back-up situation and Leinart's got the job? Otherwise, they'd bring in someone who isn't the clone of Jamarcus Russell's stats?

And if Anderson does win the job...is that any better for Cardinals? They have a Jamarcus Russell clone and a kid who couldn't beat Jamarcus Russell-esque QB play.
