Would he be a good fit?

Do you think that Darren Sharper would be a good fit for New England? And if you think he is, do you think that the Patriots would go for him. This is a legitimate question. Please, no rude remarks.

Re: Would he be a good fit?

Honestly, after the season he just had he'd be a good fit on most any team.

Re: Would he be a good fit?

Yes we just had a great year. I wish the Bengals would go after him, hell would really be a good fit for any team so the answer is yes to your question.

I think a lot of Sharper's success had to do with the excellent CB duo he played with last year. I don't think he'd be free to just ball hawk in New England like he could for the Saints.

Yup, his interceptions went down later in the year because Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter were injured and he had to just stay back in the case the backup corners gave up big plays.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yes he would. And with no salary cap this year, Pats should have also went for LT.

Re: Would he be a good fit?

I definitely would not mind a Sharper/Meriweather safety duo next season, but I highly doubt the Patriots sign him.
