Well just because the Williams brothers get signed by their old coach does not mean they will have a better NFL Carreer. If they couldn't produce under their former HC. What give them the idea they can do it under Pete Carroll. This is going to be very interresting if they can revive their carreer with their college coach. But my money is on them to be set of for failure. But good luck to them both.

I don't understand why you'd sign two proven busts to try to get help at the receive position when you could sign Terrell Owens, who is a far more proven and still-capable wide receiver despite his off-field history.

That said, the tandem of TJ Houshmandzadeh and a 36-year old TO isn't scaring anyone deep... meh.

Reggie played for UW in college, not USC.

Cost is why. These two are low risk, low cost signings. If neither work out, the cost to release them is negligable.

Yeah,it's a heck of alot scarier than the receiver firm of Williams and Williams.

Re: Seahawks Sign Reggie Williams & Mike Williams

At least Reggie Williams HAS a career. What the hell has Mike Williams EVER done in the NFL? He was gone as fast as he arrived. I thought he was going to be good, too. I guess that year off really hurt him.

The Reggie Williams signing isn't too suspect, but the Mike Williams one is. I don't think he's going to rejuvenate his "career" at all. Though like I said, I was wrong on him once already. That'd be a nice little story.
